Research Study for "Staying" Members

We are looking for individuals 18 years and older, who are currently in a romantic relationship with someone who is either diagnosed with BPD or has symptoms that are indicative of BPD to participate in a research study.  I would very much appreciate your help in gathering information on this topic that I hope will provide insight into what works and what doesn_

While it took a while to go through the questions I found the exercise useful for myself reviewing the different options open to me. And getting the book for free is even better  :)

I too found taking the survey helpful in reviewing my own actions, and the previous interactions. It helped me to see some things from a different perspective. Of course, there were a few questions that I wish there was room for a personal answer, but overall beneficial to gain some perspective. I look forward to reading the book.

Hope my responses were helpful. Like the person above me, it was helpful slowing down and seeing which copng skills were working and which do not.

Thank you for the study, I found it actually quite therapeutic in the sense of realizing that no matter what I seemed to do, it was never possible for me to fully de-escalate a situation or argument.

On a side note, I do hope to receive the results, as the book link provided does not work, and returns a 404 Not found error, which is indeed a shame, as I had hoped to give it a read.

I got that the first time too. So i just copy pasted the link to the pdf until it worked. Had to try 4-5 times.

Hmmmm, I got that error message too the first time. I hit browser back arrow. I hit it again and it worked. Just play with it a little bit and you should get it. Otherwise, if you go back a few screens, they do have a contact person if you have questions. I would explain your problem to them if what I said doesn't work for you. Best of luck!

The book was instant. On the last page of the test there is a link for downloading the book.

I went ahead and filled out the survey, despite my concerns above.

But I didn't receive the book.

Was there no link on the last page? Same page where you enter your mail adress?

I didn't see a link.   Perhaps I missed it.

Hello Everyone,

Thank you all for participating in my survey!

As of September 1, 2012, the survey will be inactive.

I hope to have results within the next few months.

Best,
