Title: Mindfulness
Post by: Cimbaruns on February 22, 2013, 06:08:14 AM
Hi all

Since going NC (day 8... .  baby steps) I have found that reading the threads on Mindfulness is helping me a great deal.

A lot of posts on that thread have been so so helpful!

Anyone else in the early phases of NC reading any of those?

I've found it has helped my anxiety immensely!

Also... .  how do I access the many posts written by 2010... .  I have read many... .  and they are  :)extremely insightful

Another thing that helped me in the early stages is reading exactly what a healthy relationship consists of-and applying that to MY situation.

It clarified for me that my marriage was seriously troubled and lacking-no matter HOW I tried to make excuses for the abuse. It also showed me what was normal, healthy and possible.
