Title: financial issues?
Post by: tomjon78 on June 02, 2013, 12:22:01 PM
I would like some advice about the financial issues that occur in bPD relationships. Now that our RS is over i am wondering about the financial side of things. I borrowed her and paid substantial amount of money. She lied about her financial situation and when I moved in with her she hadn´t paid the mortgage of her house for about 8 months. I paid it because she would have been in a lot of trouble if not. Also I paid her insurance among other things.

She said she would repay me in 3 years when her deal with the bank is over and would give me a paper confirming that the 1. of may.

She hasn´t mentioned a word about this and I was wondering since i am in NC if I should claim this money or not?

She did they same thing with her former boyfriend i know.

What should I do?

My BPD ex owes me money, not a lot, and it is worth it to me to just let it go; keeping her out of my life is more valuable to me than the money is, and I don't expect to see it, maybe I'll get a surprise one day.

If you don't have anything in writing with your ex it would be hard to take legal action, and if you broke up with her ongoing 'negotiation' may be impossible.  It's only money, and you need to decide if it's worth it to your mental health and sanity to chase it, or is it better to cut ties and move on.

fromheeltoheal is right. Forget it and just consider it an expensive lesson. You will probably never collect a dime and you will lose that many more days stuck in the madness.
