About two years into our three year expedition into crazy land... . (Before I knew anything of BPD). UBPDex & I sat down to discuss our volatile relationship & how to find some resolve. This after her raging about something & silent treating me for a few days. Now she wanted to sit and talk like mature adults about our problems. As we sat she seemed perfectly lucid, calm, self aware & mindful of the moment. Me: "we are going to need professional help, a therapist, a good one! One that can help us build trust & teach us coping tools to use. What do you think?" Bpdex: "yes we do need to build trust back you're right Moonie. I've got a better idea how we can do it!" Me: "great what is it?" Bpdex: "Lets get some pigs!" For a moment I honestly thought I was hallucinating! Whenever I doubt or wonder if she truly is disordered, I need to remember that profound nugget of trust building wisdom she shared with me that night! :) Title: Re: Just laughed so much I spilled me brandy Post by: Madison66 on January 24, 2014, 10:32:55 PM That's classic, Moonie! My exBPDbf started, just last fall, buying "pig" related stuff for his apt. Stuff that had a pic of a pig on it like a hand brush, etc. You could say he became infatuated with pigs... . What the he. is this supposed to mean?
