Title: inexplicably relieved to be here
Post by: Mojo Rox on May 16, 2015, 09:45:02 PM
Support for people who have loved ones with borderline personality disorder ?

I had no idea such a creature even existed. So much time, feeling alone in the world --

I've been dreaming of this, longing for a way to express, starving to encounter someone who could even faintly understand what it is like, to really know and furthermore love someone who has borderline personality disorder, sharing every day of this life with them.

When I discovered such a concept was actualized online, I said out loud:

"HOLY ___ BALLS."

I can't even say if I was alone in the room or not.] So anyway, here I am. I know nothing of bpdfamily, how many are registered, or what I might find. But already, some of the weight has lifted. I repeat: already, some of the weight has lifted. This is revolutionary.

Cheers.

Hi Mojo Rox,

I would like to join Love Is Not Enough and welcome you.

We are glad you found us too.  It is really relieving to find a place for support and understanding when coping with a BPD loved one.

Being in a relationship with a person with BPD (pwBPD) is truly an unique experience. From my own experience, when I talk about my relationship to family or friends, they do not quite understand it.  It is really hard to understand unless you have experienced it.

Sharing your story really helps.

I'm looking forward to reading your story.  :)
