Title: A note from my 2007 journal
Post by: joeramabeme on June 22, 2015, 05:17:46 PM
Hi All, Have been doing some inventory on what happened in my relationship with BPDw and came across a gem that I wanted to share.

Wife said: "if I ask a question then I am out of control and don’t know what I am doing.  Therefore, every time I ask a question it is indicative that I am in need of being controlled and told what to do."

WOW!  I remember writing that journal entry even re-reading now, in the context of my new-found knowledge, I am still blown away.

As I inventory, I am noting what I was feeling when these things were happening.  I remember thinking to myself; I am confused, isn't having questions a good thing?  Maybe I should be more of a man and tell her what to do rather than asking.  I don't know how to be, guess I will never be successful in my marriage.

YIKES!

Anyone else hear this?
