Hi I've been lurking here off and on since my BPD husband first told me of his personality disorder. He goes back and forth about whether he actually has it. When he doesn't believe he has it he says the psychiatrists were being unethical and trying to label hi  with something he doesn't have. He displays all the symptoms so I'm pretty sure they were right. I need support because I am struggling right now. I am experiencing my first sudden AWOL. Worried but also resigned. Thats all I can say right now

Welcome!

That sounds tremendously difficult. By AWOL do you meant he's giving you a silent treatment or has left? If you want to share more about your relationship, please do.

Being in relationship with someone who BPD is very challenging. There is a lot on this board that can help. If you are committed to the relationship the tools here are very helpful. In addition, I strongly suggest you do as much as you can to take care of yourself. I know self-care falls by the wayside when we are stressed and upset, but as much as you can do to nourish your soul and heart and body will help.

Here's a big hug.
