Hi,

I've decided to look for a support group because I have a family member with BPD and I have felt a lifetime of hurt and rejection because of it. I have tried to heal emotionally from this, but it is ongoing, and I just would like to connect with others who can understand. Thanks for reading.

Hi Annie S,

Having a loved one with BPD traits can be very draining... .hence my username.  I'm sorry you found this site under such difficult circumstances, but glad you did find it.
What relation is this person to you?  My own mother suffers from some undiagnosed PD, so I can understand how you feel.
I have learned some of the tools you will find at the top of every page, and that has helped me in reacting to and communicating with her.  Also note that are some lessons and a survivors guide in the right hand margin of this page.  They can be helpful in your journey.
Are you in therapy by chance?  Many of us have found it helpful to have a professional to guide us on our path.  Keep sharing!
