Title: BPD possible spouse
Post by: blue73 on January 23, 2017, 01:56:32 PM
My husband has not been diagnosed with BPD but he has all of the symptoms or signs of a BPD. I myself have bipolar disorder, GAD, PTSD and I am not on any medications myself for any of the disorders I have. I was on lithium carbonate for 15 years and it was taking its toll on me. I have not found a legal medication that helps any of my anixety. I am starting to have resentment for my husband that I have loved for the last 26 years of knowing him. The last 4 years we have been married and together constantly and I don't want to have these feelings towards him. I need to know how I can deal with these feelings and work through them. I don't want to walk away from this marriage but I am tired of finding mates that have the same traits, because before him that's all I have had in my life. Help!

Read as much as you can about the disorder, you'll quickly see the benefits and become proficient over time, you can create a goal with becoming indifferent to the behaviors, you neither like it or hate it, it doesn't mean to invalidate your feelings. Our members can relate with you and offer you guidance and support. It helps to talk, you're not alone.

PS You'll find the lessons on the right margin ---------------->  :)
