Title: A lightbulb moment
Post by: Without-Jumper on February 18, 2017, 11:41:41 AM
Hello
I have just realised that I have a partner with BPD. We have been together for 8 years. I have always known she is different but in a lovely way. I love her very much. Recently though it has become unbearable, we argue a lot.
I just downloaded Stop Walking on Eggshells as an iBook; all I can say is wow, I am not going mad. I feel so much better just to know that. I want to learn some techniques for taking a lot of the conflict out of our relationship.

Hi Martin Richards,

*welcome*

I'd like to welcome you to  bpdfamily. I'm glad that you have found us there is hope. You'll see that you'll fit right in here, members here can relate with you and offer you guidance and support, yu're not alone.

I see that you've already been reading about  bpdfamily and you can see the benefits already, it helps to read as much as you can about the disorder. I can relate with the destructive behaviors in the r/s, your partner has social impairments and change is going to have to come from you. I used to get in terrible fights with my ex and didn't think that it would be possible to stop the conflict, it started with this short video for me, let knoe what you think.
