Title: Need help at end of my road
Post by: Givingup76 on April 25, 2017, 01:17:44 PM
Feel like I'm losing the love of my life of 20 years, don't think she has any idea what she means to me with my borderline ways. Don't want to lose her.

Hi Givingup76,

Sorry you are going through this. Relationship turmoil is difficult. Do you have BPD or think you have BPD?

You recognize that you have borderline ways?  You just earned some of my respect for even recognizing that. |iiii  Only thing I can think of to encourage is seeking professional help.  I've heard that there are some effective therapies for those who are willing to seek help.

Best wishes in your relationship and in your own personal well-being.

from someone in the opposite position, did you tell her that?  and are you seeking help?  I wish my BPD husband of 25+ years would do both of those things... .but that would mean admitting things aren't right   kudos to you for reaching out - I hope things turn out well for you both.
