Title: Is it worth confronting behaviors?
Post by: bookworm1 on April 27, 2017, 01:15:04 PM
My uH often lies to me... sometimes they are pointless lies, such as the other day he bought lunch for himself after I had made his lunch.  Instead of telling me the truth he told me he hadn't had time to eat... .IDK why he'd even lie about it.  My point is, confronting him never works out well, so is it worth the time and effort to even try to  ask him about it?

I'd usually say, no, save that for more important topics.  H "remembers" things wrong often, and I've learned it does little good to confront it, correct it, or even respond to it if I do not have to.  Pick your battles.
