Title: I miss my ex.

That's all I want to say...
I really shouldn't.
Can't help it though.

hey ShadowA

i felt very similarly. i thought that if a loved one treated me harshly, then having any conflicted feelings, any feelings at all really, meant there was something wrong with me. things got a lot smoother for me when i gave myself permission to grieve, and to miss my ex. it is natural to miss a loved one, even one that has treated you harshly, and i suspect it will go a long way toward managing your conflicted feelings if you feel them and observe them without judgment.

you suffered a loss, and that would hurt anyone. it helps to talk.

what are you missing about her?

Hi ShadowA,

5 years is a significant amount of time for a r/s, it's normal. Was there something in particular that brought these feelings on?
