I'm so sorry to hear your son is in crisis you've come to the right place for support, some parents including myself have been in similar situations to you, you are not alone . I understand your fear not knowing what's happening day to day is crippling - I'm glad you found us for support. Your son's destroyed your home and cut himself, is he receiving any kind of medical care to work on stabilising his behaviours? Is there a crisis team your son and you can work with? Having a broad support group helps, is there a friend, family members you can talk to, we are here with you. Hugs to you , look forward to hearing from you soon. I join wendydarling in welcoming you here. It is so incredibly painful and scary to feel like you are powerless to help your son, especially when you love him so. I hope you have support in dealing with the immediate crisis and we're so glad you reached out. If and when you feel comfortable, are you able to share a little more of what has been happening for you leading up to this crisis? As wendydarling says, there are so many parents here who have been in similar situations and from whom we can learn and be guided by their experiences. Hang in there, we are here to support you. I'm another parent welcoming you to this place. I'm so sorry for your broken heart . We parents go through hell with our BPD kids. I'm sending you hope, keep posting here, you will find such great support from everyone. You've not written much but there is so much hurt in the few words you have shared with us. Hope you keep coming back... .day or night... .write little... .write lots. Welcome to this wonderful place. You can share as much or as little as you like with us. There are so many incredible parents here that have understand your pain and fear. My daughter cut me off 2 years ago and I am still just making it one day at a time. Having this forum to support me has been invaluable and has helped me live with and walk through the devastation. I would like to join the others in welcoming you here, you have taken a very brave first step in reaching out for help and support. It must be truly heartbreaking and exhausting for you living in fear that your son may take his life.
