Title: Was doing okay
Post by: PhazeLh on May 13, 2019, 05:14:12 AM
Felt as though I was slowly starting to forget about her..Last night as I lay in bed swiping through a dating app of course who do I see? all the memories/feelings come flooding back and I break down into tears. I feel so broken, I just can't move on. I had a feeling she had already met someone else which I was able to accept but for some reason knowing she is out there looking for someone new hurts so much.

It's horrible but these feelings will come and go. I'm going through the same thing myself. Hopefully the better periods will get longer and the bad times will become less common in time.

Hey there, PhazeLh. It’s hard not to look, but I suggest not looking. Don’t torture yourself. It’s hard to see how quickly they can move on. Learn more. Educate yourself. It’ll all come together. Can you commit to not looking at her social media? It will help you in leaps and bounds if you don’t.

You mentioned swiping through a dating app. Are you sure that you’re ready to date? Maybe a cooling off period is needed. Some time to reflect?

JNChell is right, staying away from any kind of social media is very helpful. Also a good point raised about staying away from dating for a while, what do you think?
