Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone's help, I have been exBPDgf free for over four years now. Wow, seems like yesterday when the tornado came through my life.

We've actually have been able to have somewhat of an acquaintanceship; we touch base by text about once every six months or so. It's usually a "hey, how's it going?" kind of thing. Nothing more than that.

She calls me today with an incredible, paranoid story about being stalked. She says that she be-friended a female cashier at one of the big box stores and that after she learned about this person's past, wanted to end the fledgling friendship.

Apparently her new friend didn't like this and is now breaking into her house when she's not home and is causing havoc. The police have been there and did not take her seriously.

I listened and provided a few tips, wished her well and then we hung up.

Of course, I don't believe her. It sounded like one gigantic, paranoid illusion.

So what's going on here? Is she just lonely and wants attention? Is she fishing for a knight in shinning armor? My guess is that she's bored.

We spoke about things in my life and I explained that I have a girlfriend and have been seeing her for about three years. I wanted to make sure to set the boundaries.

It was nice to actually speak with her as we have had on and off relations since the late 1980s. In some screwed up way, she still means a lot to me even though her "tornado of hell" almost destroyed me years ago.

You have a long history with your ex, it’s good to hear that you have hard boundaries with her - my guess is that it’s just drama. As you probably already know BPD is identified as a Cluster B personality disorder - the dramatic cluster.

Thanks for commenting Mutt. How sad. She's incredibly smart and attractive. Too bad she's wasting her life away w/o getting some help.
