Title: Finally split after 10 years
Post by: Dada69 on September 17, 2019, 02:34:18 PM
I have been in a very bumpy relationship for 10 years. This summer, my wife did something terrible and to cover up for it, she filed a police complaint for rape on 4 innocent people.

This was just another lie, she lies frequently and is an alcoholic.

She then tried to commit suicide and disappeared. The next day I went to the local police station and she was happy to see me smiling.

I managed to get the police to drop charges against the 4 people. It took its toll and I managed to split from her a few weeks later. Enough is enough.

We still communicate and I am so happy about that decision. I had tried once before, but let her come back. Not this time, never ...

Strangely, she now refuses to mention what happened or recognizes anymore that she has BPD.

She now lives with her son who prefers to ignore her state. She has already tried to commit suicide 4 times, I am sure that she will try again soon.

In my experience, you can't win. BPD people get worse and worse, even f you get used to their behavior, they will surprize you. They NEED to swear at someone and put them down.

I should have terminated our relationship as soon as I saw that something was wrong.

Now I am alone. I get up in the morning without waiting for the 1st row. Nobody tries to put me down every day. My life has genuinely changed.

If you are in a romance with a BPD, don't fool yourself, it's never going to improve because you are part of the setup, flee, flee and don't look back.
