If someone is dealing with mental disorders such as anxiety and alcoholism. What would be the best ways to convince them to get into a treatment program?

Hi HopefulAboutLife and welcome.

Alcoholism is not a mental disorder, however, in my experience if somebody has issues, whether they be substance abuse or a mental health condition, the individual themselves has to see that there is a problem and WANT to address said issues. A symptom of poor mental health is denial that there is a problem to begin with.

Why dont you start by telling us a little bit about the problems you are having with the individual in your life?
