Title: Will my male friend with BPD who has devalued me split me white?
Post by: Parker111 on January 02, 2020, 09:19:08 AM
If I apologize to my male friend with borderline personality disorder who has devalued me for my mistakes and tell him that I still want to talk to him, will he split me white?

I've apologized to my friend with BPD (EUPD) for the mistakes I made and told him that I still want to talk to him, but why did he ask me not to contact him?

can you tell us more about your relationship to this person, and what happened?

what do you want to apologize to him for?

Splitting doesn’t happen all at once, it’s a slow process to get split black and the same goes the other way as well. You can help it to not make it harder on yourself by not triggering shame in a pwBPD because you don’t want to be split black.

For example I coparent with my exuBPDw and she may try to bait me, I don’t JADE and Im careful with my response and make sure that I don’t word things in a way where I might make her feel shame.
