my husband has bpd and he gets into modes of depression (for a few days and then can be fine again) when in this mode he doesn't really he is attacking for everything and is hard to be around.   what is the best way to respond to this?
for him to know i'm here for him

bpdwife it's so hard when they're dysregulating.  Others here have pointed out that emotions are contagious. In reading your other posts, I know you're concerned about the impact on kids as well.  :hug: How do you feel when he's like this? How do you currently respond? And I know at some point he saw a professional - did they offer any advice about his atypical depression?
