Title: Doc Appt
Post by: TrulyMadlyDeeply on September 10, 2020, 03:32:07 PM
He sent a text at 4:15 saying, "F'ing traffic."

His appointment with the family doc so he could get a referral to a psychiatrist is at 4:20.

He was in early. No reason to leave late.

He's not taking off the day for our son's birthday, like he had planned, and like he's done the last couple years.

I feel like he's really pulling away. If I were in a good financial position solo, it wouldn't be so bad. But, I'm not. And I'm scared.

I'm nervous about his mood when he gets back. If they cancel the appointment on him for being late, or not, either way, he'll have feelings. And feelings are BAD. (to him, as you know)

I did get a therapist set up. She will talk with him, then our therapists will talk together.

I like her. My guts says, "It's a go!"

I think he'll hate her. Of course he will hate her. LOL listen to me. Still the optimist somewhere in there.

I'm going to go practice smiling so when the kids head down, I should have it nailed. Ha.

Sigh.

What happened after the doctor's appointment?
