Title: My daughter has left again Post by: Kelskid on April 17, 2021, 02:41:45 AM My 19yr old has left my life momentarily for the 3rd time in 2 years. She feels she really hates us at the moment. I was so close to getting her back into therapy but she believes they will lock her up and throw away the key.

What is it like when she is at home (ie does she work, study, stay home all day, go out etc). How has it been each time she has come home? Is it a crisis that brings her home? Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to get a clearer picture. It is a time of great anxiety when our young ones with mental health issues are away from us. Try to take hope from the fact that she has come home and she was close to getting therapy. Maybe next time she comes back she will be ready. |
