Title: Family Connections via NEABPD
Post by: JD2028 on August 03, 2021, 03:52:35 PM
I'm pretty sure I heard about this program on this site. I just wanted to thank whomever it was that made that recommendation and encourage others to look into the program. It was about a 3 month waitlist (ymmv depending on in-person, 12 week or weekend intensive) and it was soo worth it.

I feel more equipped to deal with my adolescent daughter with BPD. I know there is no guarantee, and, the road will be bumpy, but it's reassuring to see other parents get through it (at least in terms of their kids living independent lives, even if it's not 100% what we expected)

Hello and thank you for your feedback about Family Connections and thank you, especially, for sharing your strength in forging ahead with the hand you've been dealt. Your loved one is very lucky to have you on their side; learning all you can and tackling this with the respect it deserves.
