Title: Husband Verbally abusive
Post by: DeserveBetter on October 18, 2021, 05:45:06 AM
My husband has all of the characteristics of someone with BPD.  I try to establish boundaries. His anger is so out of control, his rages go on & on.  Last year we tried to get him help but he did not recognize that he has a problem nor does he recognize it now.

*welcome*

So glad you found us and decided to post!

I'm sorry your relationship with your husband is troubled.  It's good to set up boundaries.  Can you tell me more about 1 or 2 of them?

What did you do to establish them?

How did he respond?

How did you respond to his response?

I'll check back soon for your answers.

Best,

FF

Hi Deserve,

Just wanting to say "welcome" as well. Looking forward to hearing from you when you have a moment.

In the meantime, just know that this is a really safe place - and lot's of really great wisdom here.
