no contact from exdBPDg/f in about a week I sliped and txt her  last monday. a few hours latter she txt back saying she missed me us our old life our family. that I am better off without her after a few txt I gave in and replied as soon as I told her I missed her and wanted her back, she txt me... . plz move on.

I don't know what to make of her txt.

not sure again if she is really done trying to recycle me.

just making sure im here for her needs

really wants me to move on?

is she showing some care for me by asking me to move?

its been for almost five months why is she still the only thing I think of?

this is so crazy she left me for another man she is living with him.

why am I hanging on and rethinking her words ive only seen her one time im the past 60 days maybe a little more.

simply, sorry to hear you are feeling confused and bewildered. I think the only thing you can make of the text exchange you had is that your BPDexgf is disordered and has BPD. You are trying to communicate with her like she can process thoughts and emotions normally like somebody who doesn't have BPD. She can't.

Believe me, I still struggle with this everyday. I understand my BPDex doesn't think or feel the same way as I or most of the world does. It is still hard not to feel for her because she is still a human being. I want so bad for her to have a life she can truly enjoy even if I'm not a part of it.

You are ruminating about what your BPDex is thinking because you probably still miss her. It's like an addiction, maybe you get some kind of biochemical high in your brain when she was with you or communicating with you. Maybe it's like once you broke up, you went into withdrawal, and you still haven't totally kicked the habit.
