I have now received my second friend request from a random person.  The profile was created only hours ago, and they have only just added their first friend.

This profile is of a man with photos of what looks like a wife and children.  The other request I received two months ago was from a young single woman (after investigating I am 99.9% sure that my BPD friend is behind it).  So looks like she's at it again!  I have ignored both requests.

Why the hell do they do this?

I did delete the BPD from my Facebook two months ago.

Don't know why they do it, but just keep ignoring those requests.  For someone to want to add a strange only hours after opening an account is just bizarre.  Do you even have any FB friends in common with this person?  Hopefully she won't try to add people close to you that might fall for it.  Keep an eye on that.

Oh thanks for the tip on that one - didn't think of that.

There would be no reason for the random person to send me a request - we live on the opposite side of the world!  There is no linkage between 'him' and myself, or the friend 'he' added.  And we have absolutely nothing in common.

My BPD friend and I have about 100 mutual friends on FB!  She does also know my close friends who she is not friends with on FB.  Will keep an eye on that one.
