I'm going to go have dinner by myself now on this Valentine's Day.

It hurts my heart to say it, but I do wish my ex would be sitting next to me.

If it helps at all, know that you are not alone. I am having dinner with you as well. {Raising glass}

Cheers!

We will get through this!

I understand. Have to take it one day at a time, I have learned.

For me, knowing there are others experiencing the same as me helps. Its also great to hear from others further down the path of healing.

This too shall pass.

I'm eating at the bar. Some part deep inside me imagined her walking through the door.  Someone resembling her actually walked in and my heart skipped a beat.

Well I'm home now.

The night's over.  I talk about psychosis but I must be the psychotic one.

Part of me actually thought I would somehow run into her tonight.

Your other post sounds like you've had at least one good one.

Yes I did. I had an amazing one a couple years ago that's why my heart aches when I think about it.

It's my fault though I shouldn't think about. Well at least it's a new day now.

Weird things happen to us sometimes.  I guess days like today make us reflect on them.  Here I am, freezing my b*lls off in Western Ontario and I have to go out to get some food.  I had these socks that I really liked.  Someone special got them for me.  I could have sworn I'd thrown them away, because that's what I do when I get mad, throw things out.  But in the bottom of my drawer I found them, and they're on my feet now keeping me warm.

It's okay. Life goes on. We all hurt some days more than others but it's okay.It all part the process.

And I know what you mean about throwing things out. I used to hold on things because they meant so much to me but I've noticed it actually helps you heal and move on forward.

I must say feel bad for your balls man in Western Ontario. Try your best to keep them warm even if you have to use the socks.

In your experience, do you know why she wasn't there tonight? I mean, I didn't ask her to, but I thought I might see her.

I guess you don't have an opinion? Where have all our other solo-diners gone? Sweeping I guess.

Sometimes I get really, really emotional thinking about my ex. I miss her in my arms. Holding her and loving her. And I don't know what to do.

Does that make sense to anyone else?

You have to think of it as good opportunity to date yourself, or treat yourself!

I can relate but I try to stay strong.

I hope you stay strong and so you can find your happiness in someone that is healthy for you.

Wish you the best

Learn to love and honor yourself again, like you did before you met your BPD.

Someday you will realize what I meant.
