Introductory Hello

Hi folks,
First time caller from South East U.K.
My girlfriend has recently been diagnosed with BPD.
I'm on a steep learning curve in terms of how to offer best support - both emotionally and practically, and I applaud anyone who's stuck by their significant others side. However, recognising the person you love is still there, engulfed in their own tsunami of emotions, and that with the right support - they'll resurface - makes fighting together on recovery that little bit easier.
Eager to stand on the ah oulders of giants and learn from others' experiences, as well as pitching in where appropriate. (This is the first time I've ever actively participated in any forums!).
Grateful in advance for your combined support and wisdom, and hope my contributions positively add to the dialogue.
