Just out of a relationship with exwBPD, having trouble clearing my mind

She just kind of abandoned everything with icey blank eyes saying she needs time. Weeks later she drunk calls me while I was busy and the next morning dumps on me about how she was mistreated by a host at a baby shower all day and then after since she was in a new neighborhood decided to go get drunk (again) by herself with strangers and had to have a couple strangers make sure she didn’t drive and help her into an uber.

I thought she would have wanted to talk about the relationship status and she said “I thought I could talk to you about my feelings to you because you’re a friend.” I told her I’m not a friend, I’m interested in a relationship and she says she isn’t.

Long story short, that phone call ends abruptly, I return her things same day, and I’m just still trying to figure out why I’m so confused, but I know I probably never will.

I’ve obviously read it’s a good time to get out and not look back, but it’s still early and I am struggling a bit. I assume there will be a pull back somewhere sometime down the line, but who knows.

Any advice for the early days besides remaining in no contact and not looking at socials?

I think you’ve dealt with that as well as can do mate. You’ve respected her decision and respected yourself. Be proud of that as it’s easy to get lost in your emotions.

In terms of what to do, concentrate on yourself and go to places that are fun. Climb a mountain, join a club, get to the gym, go on a mini-break, buy a new outfit. Women are attracted to confidence and are put off by neediness.

My group of mates have a catchphrase we always say to each other when we hit relationship trouble; ‘you’re the prize!’ Go be the best version of yourself you can be. If her feelings became platonic, the only way that will change is by raising your attraction and showing yourself to who she thought you were to begin with.
