My son is in a facility but he is refusing to stay abd get treatment.  He will leave on 12/4 abd we don’t know where he will go.  Coming home without completing treatment is not an option because he has been so disruptive to the family.  He is 22 years old and he has nowhere else to go.  I’m afraid for him but we told him he can’t come home if he checks himself out early.  I don’t know what to do.  Any suggestions?

Ventura it sounds like an extremely difficult situation.  Setting realistic boundaries that you will follow through with is key to success for me.  If you say he can't come home are you willing to follow through?  Some of the most painful experiences have come by setting tough boundaries.
There is no easy answer and I am hopeful that he will decide to stay and complete treatment.
Best wishes and stay strong.
