I contacted a facilitator in my area and was told that I qualify to attend on the basis of the dysfunctional dynamics in my family — she explained that what I had experienced was relational trauma. This could also be something to encourage loved ones with BPD to attend if they are aware that they have experienced childhood trauma.

I am currently in a Transactional Analysis group (focus is on getting off of the drama triangle), and have found the group setting to be extremely helpful, and has actually been far more helpful than the individual therapy I have also been doing.
