You all might have heard about the AI engine ChatGPT (chat.openai.com) being released to the public for use.

I gave it a spin and asked it what is the difference between Petulant and regular BPD. The answer was shockingly good:

"Petulant borderline personality disorder is a subtype of borderline personality disorder (BPD) characterized by a pattern of emotional instability, impulsive behavior, and a tendency to become easily annoyed or angry. People with petulant BPD may be quick to lose their temper and may have difficulty controlling their emotions, leading to frequent outbursts and conflicts in their relationships.

Petulant BPD is different from standard BPD in a few key ways. First, people with petulant BPD are more likely to be visibly angry and irritable, whereas people with standard BPD may be more likely to experience a range of intense emotions, including sadness and fear. Second, people with petulant BPD may have a more extreme and volatile emotional style, with more intense and frequent mood swings. Finally, petulant BPD may be more likely to be associated with certain personality traits, such as a lack of empathy, a desire for control, and a tendency to be manipulative.

Overall, while petulant BPD shares many of the same symptoms as standard BPD, it is a distinct subtype that is characterized by a specific pattern of emotional instability and anger"
