My uBPD person seems really to be improving and growing. This evening we were really able to talk about some topics... he thanked me for putting up with his aggressions, said he still had them though, but didn't see why I should be the recipient. He doesn't know why they are there, but they are there. He doesn't know how to deal with them, they just come out.

He is taking responsibility for his alcohol problem - he thanked me for my care and consideration, but said he was the only person responsible for it, and that I couldn't help in any way.

He also told me he'd bought me a present ... . a surprise ... and then had to tell me what the surprise was! :-)

Well, there may be setbacks ... but this really seems positive. He hasn't been able to discuss anything like this before. Here's hoping!
