I lit some incense tonight and then preceded to ponder the following question:

If my ex and I lived in another time or place would things be different for us?

Would our "love" have triumphed over BPD?

This is what I believe to be an educated guess of what it would be like during these periods:

The Stone Age - We lived as caveman and cavewoman - She would hit me over the head with a club if in a bad mood & sometimes would do crude cave drawings on the cave walls with paint of both us together. In these drawings I would see pictures that show me and her together and in the picture there would be the image of her giving what seems to be an obscene mocking gesture toward me in the cave drawing. I would question her on this in caveman grunting sounds and she would just grunt back and have a confused look and have her hands in the air which would translate into something similar to what we all know in modern times as a hands in the air gesture that means ":)ude I have no idea what your talking about".

The Mesozoic Era - The time of dinosaurs - She proceeded in the task of sprinkling dinosaur bait appetizer powder on me one night as I slept and then hid from a distance behind a rock and watched while the dinosaurs came and devoured me because she was still angry that I woke her up early one morning and she lost sleep that night due to the early wake up. She likes to sleep late in the mornings or she is what could be classified is severely grumpy.

The American Frontier Days - The wild west - She complained about the food I cooked for her on the open campfire and that it is too cr@ppy for her refined taste buds. During the day she became jealous of my horse. She became very angry because I called it a nice trusted horse and fed it an apple. The following day, when we went through dangerous western unexplored lands when silence was of the most importance while traveling through these dangerous lands, she would unfortunately be raging all throughout the Oklahoma canyons and we would get massacred by Indians. I would hear the Indians speaking in their native tongue before they got us though. Being well versed on the native American languages I would understand just before they massacred us that a couple were asking each other in native American language the following: "What's the deal with this crazy woman?" The other Indian replied back "I have no idea my friend".

Colonization and Settlement Days - Pilgrims and Indians - She and I being as it that we are Pilgrims, one day she would trade all my valuables to the Indians for vegetables and animal meats when I am asleep and then after she ate everything she would say. "You know AO... . you seem to have lost all your valuables." "I have no idea where they are at" as she burps from her nice meal of animal meat and vegetables. I ask her if she's hungry and she replies "No, I am not hungry today". Later in the day while I chew on some tree bark and drink some dirty stream water and look for my "lost" valuables in the hot sun unsuccessfully, I glance over my shoulder and see her sitting under a shade tree taking a mid afternoon nap.



The Lost Underwater City of Atlantis - During a rage and breaking a ton of stuff and throwing something through our glass underwater apartment protection water viewing glass screen thereby causing a leak in the glass from Atlantis's water supply and causing us to drown while she says it was my fault I'm the devil until we go under water. Even after we are under water just for a few seconds before we die of drowning I hear a muffled voice through the water saying "You are the devil!". I cry one last tear and it blends into the water and thus and therefore mixes forever into the deep waters of Atlantis.

Life On Mars - She becomes jealous of E.T. and I because we started hanging out a lot and E.T. became my best bud. She attacked E.T. out of jealousy and then caused a major Martian war to erupt. When the Martian authority police force came to interrogate us on what happened to E.T. , she lied and said I did it.

The Kingdom Of Oz - She constantly accused me of having an affair with the wicked witch of the west and also one with the nice girl who she refers to as "That Dorothy tramp girl that I know you want!"

I have come to the conclusion that it wouldn't of mattered. Actually the above list would probably be even worse?

I think I am doing ok. Under 2 weeks ago I posted that I was in fear that my wife will one day come to my new home and murder me here.

That is a very realistic possibility. The solution though, instead of dreading this and having it affect me so much was to put my faith in God and understand He is in control. He saved me from an abusive relationship before it was too late. I face the facts, go easy on myself and have faith in God. I also find it is very therapeutic for me to do exercises like the attempt at humor in this thread. It helps me vent, look at things in a less serious way and have a needed laugh.
