My 24-year-old daughter was diagnosed with BPD a few years ago and I have resisted believing it until recently. Because I also believe that members of family of origin would have been diagnosed with it had they ever sought treatment, I'm wondering if it is a genetic disorder. Sometimes I need support and have nobody to turn to, so I am grateful to have finally joined here. Thank you.
