Be sure to follow the guidelines for links!

1.10 Unconventional Mental Health Content: While it is anticipated that most members have little or no formal training in mental health, members are expected to read and have some reasonable foundation before giving advice to others. Members shall post only personal experiences or the experience of a very close relative or friend and well grounded conventional mental health concepts. Please provide a reference or link for third party information. Collectively the membership is here to learn and grow as a group and it is important that we not recycle or reinforce incorrect or unhealthy ideas. With the advent of the Internet and self-publishing, just about anyone can make authoritative looking material. This puts an increased responsibility on members to check out resources carefully. Members may not use the message board to promote unconventional science/medicine. More information here: https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=161211

-------Effective October 17, 2016, our software will reject all unsecured images and links. Unsecured links begin with http rather than httpsThis is part of our hardened security the encrypts all posts and post transmissions (like a bank) and we only link to sites that do the same.

If you insert a unsecured link (e.g, http://bpdfamily.com ), the software will try to resolve it so members can at least read it (bpdfamily.com).

If you are using a fancy link and the hidden url is unsecured it won't work and members won't see it to cut and paste it themselves.

If anyone inserts avatars with unsecured links, the software will strip them out monthly.

We are all about https now. Safety.

Thought TRICK You can use bitly as a link middle man and it will secure your link or photo. It will convert and http to an https address (e.g., http://bpdfamily.com to https://bit.ly/2JaNzNI

A small inconvenience for safety.

and I think it's gonna be all right; yeah; the worst is over now; the mornin' sun is shinin' like a red rubber ball…
