Ok so back in September my BPD fiance at the time accused me of hitting her actually more like beat her up. I have been dealing with this ever since it has cost me my job a lot of money I didnt have and so much stress I didnt know how i was going to continue at some points. Today was the final court date. They refused to drop the charges because as Im told they already dropped it from a felony domestic violence to a simple battery, she kept telling them the same story, also she told them her bruises wouldn't show up because shes black.

This is such a crock that I didnt even believe it when my lawyer told me. She got arrested at the same time so she had multiple mugshots taken not a single mark on her. She later punched me in the face while driving and then called the states attorney and lied about what happened tried to tell them I drove to where she was to attack her. They knew this was a lie because there was a police report and pictures taken of my face. They even said they knew she was lying about it.

I am now concerned with how this is going to effect my attempt at getting custody of my kid when he is born in May and my future in healthcare. Keep in mind she has a record of a stabbing and has had her 2 other children completely taken away from her and was arrested twice for not paying child support. Any advice or experience would help please.
