 Hello. I am a new member. My 21 yr old daughter, who has BPD,  lives at home with us, and it has been a constant struggle throughout her teen years. I have never sought advice or help with this issue before, mainly I have read what books I could find on the subject, and done my own research. I myself was diagnosed with BPD over 20 years ago, though my symptoms and behavior have drastically changed through medication, therapy, and life circumstances. I just want to connect with others that understand what it is like living with a person with BPD. Thanks.

Hello Frida and welcome to the group  Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

"Constant struggle" sounds accurate. It already isn't easy parenting teens and young adults. The more support you can have on your journey parenting a child with BPD, the better for everyone.

Did your D receive a diagnosis? If so, when did that happen, and is she accepting of it?

Is she in school or working right now? How is that going (if it is)?

This is a great place to connect with other parents and family members that want to be effective and nurturing, while taking care of themselves.

Let us know how you guys have been doing lately;
