When i played this "Queen" song my wife started to cry immediatly, i had to turn it of after the first sentence.

Someone mentioned Let her go by Passenger and that's a good one.

Another is a rock song titled Move On by devour the day.  I think the singer is singing about leaving his wife with a substance abuse problem.

And I recently heard a creepy song called Stay by the metal band Cradle of Filth, which is a (better) cover of the song done by Shakespeare Sister.  If you watch the Shakespeare Sister video, I think one singer is pleading with her lover to not die ("stay" while the other singer is trying to lure the lover to his death (his "own world".  You could replace the dying lover with your BPDex who is on the verge of an episode.
