Can anyone recommend a councellor that actually is in remission of bpd....I thought someone who's actually been through it themselves would be able to help my partner who has bpd. He's 43.

Hi JmC,

Not sure if this would help, but as far as I can remember, Imi Lo might have been diagnosed with bpd. I found her online when I was trying to help my partner. She does do online therapy but it can be a bit pricey. Look up Eggshell Therapy, Imi Lo.

She has written two books which might help your partner. I bought her first one and gave it to my partner. She actually read it in one sitting and said she finally found someone who gets her…. then a little while later she tore the book up in an alcohol fueled bpd rage! You might have better success. The books are affordable.

These relationships are REALLY difficult! Don’t forget to focus on your own well being. I wish you luck.
