Feeling Alone

I've just found this website after looking for help and advice on BPD. I hope you can help.
My Husband has BPD and we are at the point of breaking up as I've just had enough. The episodes are hard on our family (we have 2 young boys). I feel so unheard, alone, unsupported, disrespected and emotionally abused. I have said to him that I can't carry on like this anymore, it isn't fair on our boys, on me and everyone around us and that he needs to get help and to also stop drinking. He has had different forms of therapy in the past but we now know his condition is BPD, so can focus on getting the right help. He is looking to move out for a little while to give us space and to hopefully start to help himself, which is a big step for him.
I've been with my Husband for nearly 20 years and have put up with so much that I know no one else goes through. I have always been there for him to hold his hand through his hard days and episodes and to stick up for him and supported him but I feel like my soul is screaming enough. It's become too hard.
I think I just need to know I'm not the only one or have acceptance that it is hard living with someone with BPD.

You’re not the only one.
And yes it is
hard living with a partner with BPD. Check out the Tools at the top of the page. If used consistently, they do help, and keep posting more of your story. What are two of the major issues that are troublesome?

You are not alone Sweetpea72! I admire your strength to pull through so many years of dealing with BPD husband. I can totally empathize as I am in the same situation as well. Just wanted to let you know you are not alone.
