Hi,

My daughter has tricare insurance and I am looking for a good inpatient or outpatient facility in northern Bergen County, NJ.

Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi touchdown,

Welcome

Have you tried NAMI? the following link has resources for your State. There may be members familiar with a local inpatient/ outpatient program in your area I’d like to welcome you to bpdfamily it helps to talk to others in the same situation as you.

Hi touchdown

I'd like to join Mutt and welcome you to the community and sorry what brings you here, you'll find parents in similar situations, you are not alone.   Is this a recent diagnosis, how is your daughter?

My 29DD was diagnosed in 2015, she was in DBT for 14 months, she really took to it, and reguarly talks about her skills and how she uses them in different situations.

We are here to walk with you.

Hi Touchdown:
Tricare is for military families.  Has your daughter served in the military, or is she a dependent of an active or retired military person?

You might find some help from the Tricare website below.  The website has contact information.  Perhaps, you could call one of the phone numbers referenced and get some guidance on how to navigate the Tricare system.  They may not have a specific facility or program for BPD, but I'm thinking that there is way to work through their system and get your daughter some mental health assistance.

Has your daughter been diagnosed with BPD or any other mental health disorder (or a combination of disorders)?

Are you able to share what's going on with your daughter at the current time and what are some of her biggest struggles/behavior problems?
