I am just at the beginning of this long and painful journey and have recently left my partner of 4.5 years who I believe has BPD/NPD (he exhibits every characteristic for both disorders). His unpredictable drunken outbursts began to escalate and I could no longer take the emotional abuse as we have a beautiful 16 month old and I couldn’t bare to have her exposed to such toxicity. He struggles with addiction issues (sex, porn, drugs (weed/cocaine), gambling) and he isn’t willing to seek help and/ or go medication because he said that it didn’t help in the past (he’s divorced). I’m so lost and broken and need guidance on how to pick myself up and move past this/him. I love him and love our family, but know I deserve more and so does our daughter.  Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
