I’m sharing a poem I wrote to my stbx uBPDh. I hope that it’s ok as I can’t send it to him in reality.

Lonely

I am not lonely but yet I am. Who are you? Who were you? You don’t know either.

Was any of this real? It was it too real? Emotions you could never understand.

I feel so much for you. Not having a sense of self. Not being able to control your thoughts.

I despise how you attacked me, your hateful words, your couched threats, your complete and utter need for power over me because you can’t understand yourself.

How lonely it must be to be you. A you, you will never know.

Of course this would fly over his head and possibly make the divorce more complicated if shared with him.

This is for YOU, you needed to put it down in words.  I've often commented that our "closure" is for us, and by us, and to us.  There's no way he would positively contribute to closure, nor would your feelings for his state be reciprocated.
