After meeting my wife a couple of times my counselor suggested I read "walking on eggshells".  I haven't read it all yet but so far it is checking almost every box with my wife.  I love her but the volatility is brutal - I feel literally like I am walking on eggshells.

Advice on how to deal with the situation would be appreciated.

Hi Catalina42! Welcome to the BPD family!

I'm so sorry you find yourself in this situation and you'll find that many members understand. We've been there (or are still there) and have a lot of tools and experience we can share.

Can you tell us a bit more about your relationship? How long have you been married? Can you give some specific examples of the type of behavior that has you walking on eggshells? The more we know, the better we'll be able to help!
