My adult daughter struggles with bpd. She has 3 young children that I worry for in regards to how her anger affects them and how they deal with it. I feel I need to be available for them to see what a calm stable environment can be. I understand it is not my fault or personal in the angry outbursts but need some coping skills to save myself and help the kids.

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

Welcome,
This is a very frustrating issue when grandchildren are involved.  I am sure the Grandmothers will chime in , but here is a link that may help :

It is good that you recognize that you help yourself first before you can be of help to your Grands. It is good you want to be there for them.  Does your daughter allow Skype/ Zoom chats with the kids ?
