So she was sexually assaulted in the bathroom at school yesterday. She won't talk to us much less report it. We expected this, but not so soon.  I feel like I'm hanging on, one terrible time to the next.

That's heartbreaking. I'm so sorry for you and her and your family. I don't have any advice, except to hope that she will stick with her therapy sessions.

Thank you. There are only 1 or 2 people irl  that talk to about this, but no one really understands unless they've been through it.

That's so true. No judgment or "why didn't you just..." here. We do the best we can for our kids and families, taking it a moment at a time.
