So my spouse has been in a state and watching the infection counts daily online and rants about America. He's a total germophobe and doesn't think the kids should go to the backyard or out in the neighborhood and when I did take them yesterday (because it's been raining practically the whole time of the quarantine) he screamed they needed to take a shower immediately. I'm following guidelines but I try to be optimistic and I don't think it's necessary to wipe down the mail with Clorox or anything... But I'm feeling disgusted by him. He literally thinks he's got the virus and keeps checking his temperature and staying at a distance from us in the house. Meanwhile he hasn't lifted a finger to help with cleaning or homeschooling the kids while I'm still working from home... He does a great job of killing morale though. I'd asked him to teach the kids guitar or go kick a soccer ball with them but of course he's got more urgent things to attend to. But to throw gas upon the fire is his pissy attitude. I'm just done. Maybe when the stimulus check comes I'll say take it all and we're moving out. Are you allowed to move during the quarantine? He's honestly worse for my health than the virus.

Well I think we may finally split. I lost my temper because I was so provoked. I think he is just waiting for some money to come in to be able to move. I don't know what the next step is but I'd rather be alone than unloved and spurned. For me this is all burden and no reward.
