why not answer? i wouldnt talk logistics/plan anything with her or get into anything, but would it hurt to be more specific that youre under the weather and will get in touch when youre better?

It’s understandable that you don’t want to talk to her. It sounds like you could use a break from her.

, she may be your landlord, but this doesn’t give her power over you. There are laws concerning this, which means you have rights as a tenant. I would look that up and set up boundaries in accordance to the law. The law is on your side here. Maybe you and your husband can make this a team effort. What do you think?

Yes. Those little unspoken things are the worst. The hallmark of covert abuse. No one else can see it. It’s behind closed doors, and if crafty enough they can pull it off in front of people because they know that we won’t say a word because we’re afraid of what will happen behind closed doors.
