Hallo, I found you and hope I can get some support in a very difficult situation. My adult daughter, 35 is making her life a mess and so is mine. He father has not been in her life for many, many years. Until she was 30 we had a very good relationship and her life was running fine. But at 30 she had ended her studies was about to start working and suddenly got a physical illness that doctors did not know whet it was. It was a terrible skin disease and she refused to go outside. She expected medt o look after her and everything.I tried but it was too hard for me with work and everything. Now the situatuon is that my daughter has lost everything in her life, friends, work and I am about to say NOMORE as she is behaving very bad to me and I am scared of her. She has the diagnose ADHD but I think itis more. Her personality shows so much of BPD.

Hello ss,

Welcome to bpdfamily

I'm sorry you are dealing with this difficult situation with your daughter, she is behaving badly and you are scared of her. You'll find parents here are in similar situations, working toward changes as you are. Is your daughter living with you ss, when you say she behaves badly what's happening, what behaviours are you dealing with, do you feel safe? It's important we look after ourselves and one way is to step back as you are to understand what's happening and how we can make changes for ourselves by learning and using the tools and lessons to your right, to improve our relationship with our children  Bullet: important point (click to insert in post)

Is your daughter living with you?

You are not alone, I'm glad you reached out for support ss, we are here
